Copy dropped items to a folder
With this tool, you can set up shortcuts to folders on your computer or across the network. If you drag and drop from Windows Explorer, it will automatically copy the files to the new folder. If there is already a file of the same name in that folder with the same name, a new name will automatically be created, rather than overwriting. This would let you make copies of your work through the day, or over the course of several weeks.
You can also drag and drop emails from Outlook or Outlook express. This can be particularly useful for making backups of individual messages onto floppy disks, zip drives, or CD-R.
