How do I find out about updates

New versions will occasionally appear on the website. After we are satisfied that the version on the website is stable enough we will notify all registered users by email, using their most recently registered email address. Please do not install a newer demo version of RIP Vinyl onto your computer. The demo version is different from the registered version, and you must wait for the full version link.

Fill out the form below with your keycode, and you can instantly download the latest copy. Please make a backup copy after your download, as the number of free downloads is limited. Also, please switch off your download manager if you have one, as some do not correctly follow HTTP protocols, which will cause your download to fail.

My order number was: My keycode was: If you have already installed the full version of RIP Vinyl (version 3.00 or later) on your PC, click the button to the right, to read your serial number. You will receive a security warning when you click. Select yes if you wish to read the value automatically. No other information is collected from your PC when you click this button.

This feature requires Internet Explorer and scripting to be enabled. You may need to add www.ripvinyl.com to your trusted sites list to work as well.

If you have lost your keycode, and you purchased via SWREG with a credit card, you can get your keycode from www.cardquery.com if you purchased after October 13, 2003. Please remember that your download link that is also shipped with the keycode will no longer work if it is more than 7 days old.

HELP! I can't find my keycode and order number.

This is our most common support call. When you initially download the software, or when you download an upgrade, please save a copy to a floppy disk, for your future installation needs. You should also write down your password, which will also be required on reinstallation.

If you purchased after August 26, 2004 please go to www.cardquery.com and enter the email address you used to purchase. You will then be emailed a list of purchases on that address with keycodes. Then enter the keycode on the form above to download the latest version.

If you cannot use the system at SWREG, and have checked through all of your old emails, please use the form below, and we will re-issue your code. We normally do this within one week, but in busy or holiday periods it may take longer. This service is currently free of charge, but we reserve the right to charge for it in future.
