Setting your gallery details for the first time
The first thing you must do to the sample is load up the sample layout file named demo_main.layout
Once you have opened this file, perform the following steps:
- Click the file menu, and select Gallery Settings...
- Enter all of the details for your gallery
- Choose the currency to use. By default the program uses British Pounds (£). If you want to use dollars, or another currency, simply type in the symbol required.
- Enter the name of your logo file, and copy it into the sample directory. It will be automatically copied to your website when you publish.
- Click the More Show Details button
- Modify the directions on how to find your gallery.
- You can also change the colors used on your website. Only the Foreground, Background, Visited and Link Colors are used in the sample.
- Click the OK button to save your work.
Setting the Current Show
Each time you publish a new show, you should open the demo_main.layout file, and change the show dates to be the name of the show you are using. For now, leave it set as show1 as it is in the sample.
