Setting up the list of future shows
First open the file upcoming.layout
In this file, you need only enter the following information for each item.
- The Title of the Show
- The Description of the show (usually the date)
- A longer description in the Long Description section
- A link to the show name (in the Hyperlink Field)
The initial settings in this file link to #upcoming.
This generates a link that points back into the same file, so that you can describe shows before you have any artwork.
As soon as you have uploaded a shows information to your website, you can add a link here to the correct location, so it can be viewed before it is the current show.
You should enter the details of the current show at the top of this list of shows, so it always stays current.
Create the list of shows.
Click the Create! button to process the list.
