Generating your website

When you are ready, simply press the Create Button on the screen. This will process all of the templates listed on the Options Page, and write them to the location specified.

It will also process all of the images, and generate new thumbnails, and large images. Before you start you may want to delete the existing files in the output directory, so that abandoned items do not clutter your disk.

If your website is not using any server side technologies you can usually view the website, simply by double clicking a file using windows Explorer. If you are using server side technologies, you'll need to copy the files to the required folder on your web server.

Sending the files to your website via FTP

You can now configure the program to upload your files directly to your website.

When you choose Publish from the File Menu, the program will first generate your website, and then prompt you for a password for the FTP site. It will then automatically copy all of the files in the target folder to your website.

Using other programs for FTP

Alternatively, you can use Internet Explorer's ftp option. Just go to the address bar, and enter the name of your FTP site (you'll get this from your web host). You'll also need to know your user name and password.

After you've logged in successfully, you can drag and drop the directory created by the program onto your website, and that portion will be live.

You can also browse them on your disk, just by clicking on the files from Explorer.
